I’m in a Place…

I’ve never submitted any type of spoken word or poetic anthology on this blog. I’ve presented before, unaware that I even had it in me.

This time, I completely felt let to post this, maybe for you…maybe for me.

I’m in the Place

It’s an obscure Place at best, something that can’t be defined by a single word or phrase… just know that I’m in a Place…
It’s a Place that is full of twists and turns, obstacles and nuances, speculation and assumption, anticipation, hope, fear, agendas, pride…I’m in a Place.

This place is where feelings are undocumented, and conversations with self are a frequently practiced attempt to discover the dirty truth.
I’m in a Place where sanity, prosperity, value, practicality and reason are critically considered, breaking ground for a new story to tell.

This Place, you ask, is relevant because it adds an unknown dimension or shall I say a completely new outlook to my life as I know it…
This Place has exposed me to a continuum of challenges far beyond my wildest intentions.

This Place has brought the unexpected and will need every bit of the Holy Spirit’s power and guidance to keep me grounded in the midst of the warfare.

I will not complain or celebrate. I will stay in this Place. I will be still. This Place won’t paralyze my character strengths because in a matter of time, this Place will shift.

Once the shift happens, I will learn to manage, adapt, conform, love, appreciate, admire, observe and grow wiser because each Place brings a different dimension than the previous one.

Each Place is special, unique and purposeful for growth.
What Place are you in right now? Are you Trusting God as he prepares you for this NEXT Place in your life?

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. -Jeremiah 29:11

Very beautiful. It speaks to where I am in life right now-a very critical crossroads. But instead of reacting, I am simply being still and allowing the Creator to work things out according to his will.
